Marca a saída de Rick Grech para o Blind Faith. Na excursão americana, Roger Chapman se mete numa briga com Bill Graham e o esmurra. Jubilé 40 Jahre Rock Music 1968-2008

Jean-Jacques KRAVETZ is an ancestor of the German rock scene.
Kravetz was born in Paris in 1947. He studied from 1960 to 1965 at the Paris Conservatory CNSMDP Alto Sax and Piano. During this time he founded his first band.
In 1967 he moved to Hamburg.He became member of the bands THE CITY PREACHERS with INGA RUMPF and UDO LINDENBERG. 1969 this band split in FRUMPY one of the best German rock bands ever.
Above all, "Frumpy 2" has now achieved cult status. It was especially Kravetz playing Hammond B3, the unique sound of FRUMPY coined. After three studio and one live album Frumpy ended in 1973. Later Inga Rumpf and J.J. Kravetz formed the band ATLANTIS. The members of ATLANTIS where the crème de la crème of the German Rocks: Frank Diez, Curt Cress, Dieter Born Schlegel, Alex Conti, KH Schott, Udo Lindenberg and Kravetz.
This album, "Jubilé - 40 years of rock music" is a reprint of the musical life story of JJ Kravetz. All songs were recorded by the original members of the old bands in a relaxed session in the summer of 2007. Seven are classics, plus three new songs together with his son Pascal.

5º álbum lançado em 1975, o último a pegar o Billboard 150 nos USA. É uma colaboração entre a banda e Michael Moorcock (letras), com o miolo do álbum - The Wizard Blew His Horn, Standing at the Edge e Warriors -  sendo inspirado no conto Eternal Champion. Moorcock se apresentava com a banda lendo seus poemas junto as odes espaciais de instrumentos mais esotéricos ao ambiente do rock feito pela banda e o show de luzes. É o último álbum com Lemmy, cuja saída marca o retorno do vocalista Bob Calvert. Conta também com o segundo baterista Alan Powell e reflete a entrada de Simon House (teclados e violinos) na parte criativa da banda. Isto aconteceu no período pré-punk, últimos dias do prog, época que prepara o aparecimento do Senhor dos Anéis e depois da Guerra nas Estrelas do ambiente hippie e scifi para as massas.

Existem dois: Sonny Boy Williamson I era gaitista, escreveu Good Morning Little School Girl e morreu assassinado em 1948. Sonny Boy Williamson II, aka Aleck Ford Miller, morreu no Arkansas em 1965 e gravou pela Chess. Personagem folclórico que sempre criava estórias sobre suas excursões e seus feitos, é que aparece neste álbum gravado ao vivo no Crawdaddy Club, Richmond, UK no dia 08Dez1963 com um jovem Eric Clapton na guitarra acompanhando um bluesman americano durante sua excursão inglesa, como era comum na época. Lançado em 1965 pela Fontana(UK)/Mercury(USA), foi posteriormente reeditada em estéreo como SBW in Europe e SBW Live in England. Esta reedição da Repertoire mantêm a capa mais famosa em digipack gatefold, tem 5 faixas bônus e é uma reedição da Repertoire, sinônimo de cuidado com a qualidade do audio e na produção da capa. Seemingly incapable of making a lackluster record, the revered U.K. rock band Elbow knocks another one out of the park with its fourth full-length outing, THE SELDOM SEEN KID.
